Blaxhall is back to host a round of the British Motocross Championship

RHL Activities and Woodbridge DMCC are pleased to welcome back the Revo ACU British Motocross Championship Fuelled by Gulf Race Fuels to the Blaxhall circuit near Woodbridge in Suffolk on Sunday 19th of June 2022.

Riders will race across the sandy track in reverse for the 2022 season which uses its naturally changing elevation to test their physical and mental durability. The new layout of the flowing circuit will make for an impressive track for the riders and the spectators too. The track will now have the riders jumping into the main stage from the beginning of the race, throwing them right into the action.

In the 2022 season the classes making a return at Blaxhall will be the MX1 and MX2 alongside the 125cc & 250cc and BW85. Having been awarded the ACU British Championship Organiser of the year for the past five years for providing a great infrastructure, we know the event will generate some excellent racing across all classes.

Last year we had Harri Kullas take 1st place in the MX1 class with a total of 45 points, with 25 points in the first race following up with 20 points in race 2. We expect him to make a return this year alongside his team Cab Screens Crescent Yamaha so we suggest that you be on the lookout for him.

In the MX2 class Conrad Mewse took home 1st place crushing the competition with a 12 point difference between 1st & 2nd place, scoring 25 points on both runs.

Alfie Jones was our winner for the 125cc & Open in 2021. He started with a positive first run scoring 45 points but scored slightly lower on race 2 gaining 40 points, securing the victory with 85 points.

The final class held at Blaxhall last year was the Big Wheel 85cc. The 1st place winner was Billy Askew scoring a total of 87 points across his 2 races. Race one saw him scoring 42 points and he exceeded his previous run scoring 45 points to finish. Billy Askew will be returning this year entering again into the Big Wheel 85cc class.
